Chloroplasma
Chloroplasma. IT IS FUN!
part of a dragonfly.

Like Earth's Blood

Tell me a story of how it begins,
Of the one who spreads continents out on the seas,
And tell me of dreams and of battles and sins,
Of the Bent One whose deeds fester like a disease.

Tell me of people chaotic inside
Who give up their souls to stay out of the light,
And shadows of terrors with no place to hide
Who crush the blind hopefulness only for spite.

Sing me a song of the rank and the weary,
Of darkness, of poison, of horror and pain,
And those who would beg it, with eyes red and bleary,
That never again should they cheat death in vain.

Sing to me pleasures unchecked and untamed,
The vicious enforcers ruled only by Air
and its Prince, who goes unnoticed, though not unnamed,
He who orders the sound and the fury laid bare.

Once more, tell me envy and hideous grins,
And toxin that putrefies as it descends.
Is this the story of how it begins,
Or is it of how it all ends?
