Life is a highway
so everyone speeds.
Everybody only cares
about their own needs.

Humans might as well be blind
for as little they can see.

I was born just yesterday
but I still know it all.
Everybody makes their own way,
and everybody takes their own fall.

Everyone likes something different,
at least that's what I'm told.
These days we all like the same
and our hearts are turning cold.

Love looks on tempests
while hate runs away.
Everybody goes there
but not a one will stay.

If somebody's mellow,
people think they're laced.
Everyone's a prototype
and things stay where they're placed.

So it's time for goodbye pleasure
Time to say goodbye to sin
We've got to try get out
if we're not much too far in.
