Dragon

Dragon, dragon, of the night,
Your eyes are black, your claws are white.
What artist of nature pure
Could capture thy fierce serenity?
The cold winter ice runs in thy vein,
Your silver heart encased in pain.
A single scar, below the eye,
Disrupts the piercing symmetry.
