I am eating Buttered Popcorn jelly beans. I love these so much. Everyone either hates this flavour or loves it. I personally love it. =D Mum and dad went to Wal-Mart and Super Target and got these for me as a consolation prize since they couldn't find a bottom-watering plastic pot for my Frederick (the spathiphyllum). When I first got him, he was in a four-inch pot or something and the bottom-watering classy one I got to replace the cruddy one he came in was a little bigger. But then I found out he was totally rootbound and crowded O_O So he was already kind of too big for his pot when I got him. And now he's gotten very much bigger and I know the poor dear must not feel at all comfortable in there. So I need to get him a bigger pot. Only they didn't have them at Wal-Mart even though that's where I got the first one =/ By the way, it's come to my attention that previously the places where I put faces looking like this =/ , the mouth got deleted and only = remained. Actually, they weren't =/, they were =/ with the dash facing the other way, only for some reason it doesn't work right. I could go find the HTML equivalent for a dash like that, but I don't want to. Therefore, any time an equals sign is seen and it doesn't seem to make sense as a geometric proof or somesuch, it's meant to be a =/ with the dash facing the other way. I'm too lazy to edit all previous journal entries looking for that. Too bad for you.
Two times in a row (I avoid trying to say nights or mornings anymore because it's too dumb) I've gone to bed at like... 4.30 am. Last night I was playing some FF8 and then AnJa wanted to watch the Saturday Morning cartoons and it was like 1, but, whatever. Anyway, Harry MacDougal on Outlaw Star is my new favourite. O_O He's pretty. I tape MSG and OS in the afternoon and all of Midnight Run, then I watch Mobile Suit Gundam, fast-forward through Outlaw Star unless Harry MacDougal is in it (then I watch the parts with him and fast-forward through the rest). Also, I fast-forward through all the parts of 08th MS Team that don't have Karen and/or Elador in them. And repeat the earlier process with Outlaw Star.
Touya is so cool. I love Touya. I can't get over how cool he is. And also, the Cardcaptors dub voices ROCK! Casting and acting and stuff-wise, it's one of the best dubs I've seen. Of course, those people are crazy with cutting things out for no real reason, so that part sucks a lot. But, I mean, if the people who put the animation and scripts and episodes and things together were halfway sane, Cardcaptors would totally be like the best dub I've seen. O_o Actually, Gundam W's dub rocked. None of the voices were bad, and nothing was cut out (except for afternoon CN showings). Now I speak more about Cardcaptors localisers and stuff. Unlike Optimum, they are not dumb stupid total freaking morons with IQs of approximately 8. However, they're... weird. Just... weird. I mean like white jacket hug-yourself weird, not like talks-to-roaches weird. Actually, no, they're not weird. They're just high. High on crack. Good crack. Pure stuff. They are SO FREAKING HIGH on CRACK COCAINE. That's what. So, here are your choices!
1) Watch a dub with mediocre acting produced by dumb stupid morons who can't count higher than fifteen because they need one of their hands to point to the appropriate finger or toe: Sailor Moon S/SuperS by Optimum/Cloverway.
2) Watch a dub with excellent acting produced by crack monkeys (motto: "The first episode's free"): Cardcaptors by... I forget.
3) Watch a dub with excellent acting produced by wholly sane and competent professional adult-types: Gundam W by Sunrise/Ocean Group.
We are all happy now! Andromeda will come on in two hours. Since I was awake until 5 this morning and slept until 2 in the afternoon, the most logical thing to do considering I have a place to be at 9 tomorrow morning (we're starting choreography... I will bludgeon myself with Rico's pink GBA [Rico: "IT'S FUSCHIA, SHUT UP!"]) is just not go to bed tonight at all and sleep all day after Soundsations. Wait, that's not the most logical thing to do, I was wrong. In my calculations, I omitted to consider the fact that rehearsal is until noon, which would then involve almost 24 hours of wakefulness on my part. Yeah, I'm just on crack. I drank a lot of water today, though. ::drinks some water with popcorn jelly beans::
I found out that President Bush is going to be at the convention Soundsations are singing at. I, myself, am going to be singing and dancing to the most exponentially queer song in the history of music in the presence of the executive of this sovereign nation. I hope Rico brings his GBA to that too. Course Bush will probably like it. Maybe he'll make a speech and tell us we're very admirationable youths, or something.
Many people hate Bush. Personally, I like Bush. I don't think he's stupid at all (although his use of the English language is somewhat unorthodox) and I don't think he's Big Mean Let's Kill The Planet either. Anyway, even if he were stupid and Let's Kill Earth, I'd still prefer him to Al Gore (I heard he reached an apotheosis of whiteness and punk-assitude). Am I the only one who saw him at the closing ceremony of the 1996 Olympics, trying to clap along with the music? O_O()()()() Now that's one bit of footage I bet he wishes he had safely in a lock-box somewhere.
This is dumb. I'm talking about politics in my journal. I feel dirty.
I'm going to name the next GF I get in FF8 Grantaire. ^_^ Recap of names for FF8 characters, with Special bonus "Why in Sweet Nirvana I named them that"!
Squall - Jackie. Because I like Jackie Chan, and because when AnJa played FF7, she named Cloud Jackie, and when they made me name Squall, I couldn't think of anything.
Rinoa - Ai Ling. Because she's a lot like Ai Ling. :Þ And Ai Ling is a pretty name where Rinoa is an ugly name.
Angelo - Pu-chan. Because my dog is Pooh, aka Pu-chan.
Griever - Eponine. Because I again could not think of anything, and Eponine is cool, and I thought it would be kind of funny if a big lion was named after a scrawny beggar chick. Or something.
Quezacoatl- Techalotl. Because Techalotl is the Aztec squirrel god, and because Quetzacoatl was spelled wrong but made me want to still give him an Aztec name.
Shiva - Yuki-Onna. Because she's a snow woman.
Ifrit - Mukuku. Because I wanted to name him after the Muku-Mukus in SMRPG.
Siren - Aluminium. Because of Sailor Aluminum Siren and the British spelling/pronunciation of the 13th element.
Brothers - DaPlummaz. Because hangin' with the plumbers, you'll be HOOKED and the brothers.
Diablos - The Dowhy. Because I thought it would be chuffing hilarious if the big evil devil guy was named after my gnome voice teacher. And also because the hand motion he does when casting Gravija or whatever that's called is kind of effeminate looking.
Carbuncle - Blackie. Because it looks like Eefi/Espeon, but I didn't want to name it either of those, so I named it Blackie (Umbreon's Japanese name) instead.
Leviathan - Enjolras. Because Thénardier didn't fit and I wanted to name it something from Les Mis.
Pandemona - Voltaire?. Because. Just... because.
Cerberus - Grumio. Because in the Cambridge Latin series, the dog is named Cerberus, and the cook is named Grumio.
Alexander - Hamilton. Obvious, isn't it?
Tonberry - Javert!. Because Tonberries ruke and so does Javert. Plus I like the idea of enemies being pierced by the butcher knife of JUSTICE.
::still eating jelly beans:: I love these! They're the best when you suck on them until the outer shell disappears.
Well, Rush Hour 2 came out on Friday, and I went and saw it. On Friday. Then I saw it on Saturday. Then I saw it on Sunday. Ha ha ha ha ha!
Go and see Rush Hour 2! It's good!
Curses. The music skips. I hate it. It makes me cry.
Zuki called me today! yay! She went to Paris. O_O And saw the Mona Lisa. And stuff. Well, they went to Paris because they can fly to places for really cheap, so they went to Paris, just because they did. *shrug* I want them to go to Potsdam next so they can visit museums that have Frederick the Great stuff in them. ^___^ She's getting her computer on Thursday. Thursday, come quickly, but after that, the rest of you days, go SLOWLY, VERY SLOWLY, but when you eventually do reach 21 August, GO QUICKLY, and when you get to mid-late December, SLOW DOWN AGAIN, and then 7 Jan or so, SCHNELL, and then sometime in March you're going to have to slow down again, but then a week later HAYAKU HAYAKU until like 3 June or something. At which point you must slow down excessively, hopefully to such a slow point that you become comatose.
Politics and orders to Time all in one journal entry. I don't think I had enough Dr Pepper today. I did only eat one meal... a burger and fries at EZ's. Immediately after the 5.00 showing of Rush Hour 2 at the Embassy.
I think I should stop writing. If I continue in this vein, it won't be long before I'll be able to add dissection of Mahayana Buddhism to American Politics and Demands upon the Great God Chronos.
