Tee hee, Bruce Campbell is handsome! -^_^- I watched Army of Darkness last night. Parts of it were very funny. Other parts. weren't. But Bruce Campbell is still handsome (tee hee!). Speaking of Bruce Campbell, I went to see The Majestic earlier tonight =O! What does Bruce Campbell have to do with The Majestic, you ask? I will tell you. He is in it, of course!! He plays "Roland" in a B-movie =D =D =D
About The Majestic, it was really good. I liked it a lot. Jim Carrey is a much better actor than people give him credit for. The Truman Show rocked, too. By the way, I recently came to the conclusion that, as the Latin masculine "-tor" becomes feminine as "-trix," a female stage performer should be called not an actress but an actrix. And the plural is "actrices." It amuses me =D
So like, my plans for the rest of this year include attendance at three cons: Ushicon (Austin, February), ACen (Rosemont, IL, April), and AX (Long Beach, CA, July). And life turns out that it seems I get to actually go to them all!!!! O_O!!! HURRAY! Ushicon of course I'm going to because it's just in Austin and plus I'm already registered. Ho ho ho. BURADDO SUEERU wa ACen ni imasu yo. Wagahai mo ACen ni imasu. Because it's excused absence if I look at colleges while I'm up there!! =D!!! And daddy is going to come to so I don't get mugged! XD!! I'm hoping his attendance will also relieve the need of my personal self to pay for my personal hotel room, food, and airline ticket =O() And as for AX... when we all sat down and discussed our plans for the year with calendars (we actually did this, it was mum's idea and we're afraid to go against her will), we decided to take a summer trip to California!! ALL RIGHT! And visit my aunt Izzy an' uncle Doug and meanwhile AnJa and I will attend AX and do other stuff cos it's fun! Score!
On the subject of Izzy and Doug (who are awesome relatives, Izzy and Chrissy are actuall both my favourite aunts, it's just that Chrissy lives a lot closer), IZZY IS GOING TO PAY ME MONEY TO DRAW PICTURES FOR HER STEP-GRANDSONS' BIRTHDAYS!!! =O!!! All right! My first professional job! O_o I feel weird taking money from a relative for something like this, but she says she won't let me do it for free.
I really want to cosplay at all the conventions, but that might not happen. Oh well. I originally planned to go to AX as Fish Eye, but the amount of bleaching and dyeing required to get my hair acceptably light blue might be a little too damaging, and above all I don't wish to damage my hair. Now, I'm thinking Beatrix (who 0wnz0rz m3).
Sam Gamgee is the Very Favourite of both Devon and me. We think he's too ugly and chubby in the movie. But in the books he is of course very cute. =D So far, he rocks my socks, and Devon r0x0rz his b0x0rz. We've bonded over this issue, I believe.
This morning was the Doctor's Appointment from Hell O_O()()() It actually wasn't reallly bad, it's just that everything that COULD go wrong pretty much DID. Well, not everything. But still, enough did to make it appear comical in retrospect. Okay so like, I've basically been pretty well for a long time and haven't had to go to the doctor in over a year, likewise AnJa. We need to get some prescriptions renewed, so our doctor decided since she hasn't seen us in a year we should come in for a small checkup to get the prescriptions. So we like did and stuff, only the appointment was at 9 a.m. this morning, NINE in the freaking A.M., single digits in the MORNING, something Rachel doesn't do whenever possible. [this is also why she does not love school.] But that's not the bad part. We got there and then AnJa was gonna do scales and eye chart and ear test and stuff and I was supposed to do a urine sample.
**INTERLUDE: EXCERPT FROM THE CONVERSATIONS OF RACHEL AND HANS**
RACHEL: Is it inappropriate to discuss my failure to perform on a urine sample at the doctor's office in my journal?
HANS: XD!!!!!! I don't think that's inappropriate.

You may draw your own conclusions as to what happened about the urine sample. The nurse lady was like "Want me to bring you some water?" and I was like "...yeah..." but then it turns out like the two droplets I managed to produce were enough XP()()()() On top of that, I read the wrong line on the eye chart because I didn't see the big numbers off to the side O_O() And the lady just writes it down and is like "uh-huh," and it's like she didn't NOTICE I was reading the line below the one I was supposed to be on perfectly? So she put that my vision with glasses is 20/50 and my doctor was like "O_O Your glasses don't work" and I was like "Uhh... I think I read the wrong line?" because I figured out toward the end of the eye thing that something wasn't right XP So I did it again and got it perfect, and the doctor is like "You're so funny," just like Jamie is always like "You're so funny." AnJa is 5'5 3/4". I am 5'2 1/4". DRAT, I'm not 5'1". Oh well, at least I'm still firmly below average height. AnJa also had to get blood taken because she's special, and for the first time in her life, she got blood taken without passing out =D!
Bwa, I don't really feel like talking about anything else, nor can I think of anything else about which to talk anyway, so whatever. Oh wait, here's something: I don't want to go back to school. FWA.
